Regional Field Supervisor Positions

The Regional positions supervise field EMT crews in multiple locations.

Salary 55K annually with benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities

These are Albuquerque based administrative and supervisory positions that will oversee the day to day activities of Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics on all assigned shifts in designated New Mexico locations including Albuquerque, Northern cities, Torrance and/or Grants.

Participates in interviews and orientations for new Emergency Medicine Technicians and Paramedics. Performs supervisory work; maintains and monitors work schedules; assists Quality Assurance to evaluate the work of Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics. Performs Quality Assurance audits in assigned areas and monitors payroll for the field staff. Supervises field employee performance; takes required corrective/commendable actions; oversees and handles training and related activities; ensures proper staffing of ambulance in accordance to NM Public Regulation Commission. Performs administrative work; ensures the maintenance of all applicable reports and equipment records; investigates concerns and prepares reports for administrative personnel. Responsible for the requisition, distribution, and inventory control of approved drugs, medical supplies, and other equipment used by staff. Maintains Pharmacy records and log, and cataloging of expired medications for destruction. Contribute to team effort by performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent and three years if related experience and some experience in a lead, coordinative, or supervisory capacity. An AA degree is preferred. Must possess and maintain a State of New Mexico Certified EMT License. Must possess a State of New Mexico Driver’s License and favorable driving record. Must possess a certificate for Emergency Vehicle Operator’s Course (EVOC). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification is preferred.
